Peak Sports and Learning
At Sanctuary Point we have access to before and after school care. From 6.30- 9 am before school and 3-6 pm after school. Access more here
Stage 3 Leisure Sports
Our Leisure Sports program gives students the chance to try new activities, build confidence and stay active in our beautiful local environment. From surfing at our stunning beaches, rock climbing and bush walking, to fun school-based games and skill-building in golf, tennis and lawn bowls, there is something for every child to enjoy. These experiences strengthen teamwork, resilience and a love for being active, while helping students discover passions that can last a lifetime.
Aboriginal Education
At Sanctuary Point Public School, we proudly celebrate and embed Aboriginal culture, history, and perspectives across all areas of learning. We work in partnership with our Aboriginal Education Officer, local Elders, and community to ensure that every student develops a deep understanding and respect for the world’s oldest living culture. Through meaningful classroom learning, cultural events, and community connections, we strengthen the identity and pride of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and promote reconciliation through shared understanding and respect.

Extension Opportunities

Students can participate in enrichment groups across a variety of areas—ranging from problem-solving and creative thinking to hands-on, practical learning. Our extension music sessions give students the chance to develop their musicality through specialised instruction, performance opportunities, choir, and band. For students who love being creative in the kitchen, our cooking extension programs build independence, teamwork, and real-world skills as they learn to prepare meals, follow recipes, and experiment with flavour.
