Kindergarten 2026

Our Kindergarten Transition Program at Sanctuary Point Public School is designed to help your child feel confident, connected and familiar with the school environment. Beginning at the start of the school year, future students start their transition to school through opportunities offered by Connect. Our transition program continues into Term 3 and Term 4, offering a range of visits to help families and children become familiar with our staff, routines and learning environment.

Some sessions are organised through local preschools, while others allow families to attend with their child.

As the program continues, children also visit independently to build confidence and a sense of belonging. Students enrolling into a support class join all mainstream transition visits and are also invited to additional tailored sessions. These visits help us learn more about your child’s strengths and interests, guiding how we can best support their learning. All information and updates are shared through our school Facebook page and parent email address.
