Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.

Our School facilities

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:

At Sanctuary Point Public School, our classrooms are bright, modern and designed for how children learn best today. Flexible seating, up-to-date technology and calm, purposeful learning spaces help students feel comfortable, engaged and ready to learn. Our classrooms are places where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed and every child feels confident to have a go.

TH@SPACE is our school’s dedicated MakerSpace. A creative, hands-on learning environment where students explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through curiosity, collaboration and innovation. The space focuses on Digital Technologies and the design process, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems and bring their ideas to life.

Inside TH@SPACE, students have access to a LEGO Education room filled with Technic and creative LEGO sets, as well as 3D printers, Chromebooks and laptops for designing, coding and creating. A specialist teacher works alongside classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons that develop skills in coding, robotics, digital systems and design thinking.

Our playground is a vibrant and active hub where students play, connect and grow together. With a spacious oval for running and team sports, a full basketball court for friendly games, a colourful playground for climbing and exploring, and modern fixed gym equipment to build strength and coordination, there is something for every child. We value active play and encourage students to have fun, stay healthy and enjoy being outdoors in our beautiful school environment.

Our school library is a welcoming space where imaginations grow. Filled with stories, comfortable reading corners and opportunities to explore new worlds, the library is a special place for students to connect, learn and discover a love of reading. It’s a calm, inclusive environment where every child can find a book that speaks to them and a quiet moment to enjoy it.

Sanctuary Point Connect, located on our school grounds, is a welcoming hub for families and young children. As part of the School as a Community Centre (SaCC) program and supported by the NSW Department of Education and NSW Health, it provides playgroups, family activities and community events that strengthen connections between families, the school and local support services. Led by a highly experienced early childhood practitioner, Sanctuary Point Connect offers a warm, supportive space where families can learn, play and grow together. This program helps build confidence, belonging and strong partnerships from the very start of each child’s learning journey.
